Aloo Jeera is easy yet a delicious side dish. Specially made for vrat or fasting meal. A whole cumin seeds is the main spice ingredient. Boil some potatoes and then saute them with spices, made in 10-15 minutes. Good for toddlers(or babies) too just omit or lower amount of chilies and garlic.

Ingredients:
2 cup Potatoes(4-5 medium sized and chopped)
1 tbsp Cumin seeds
2 tbsp Coriander leaves(finely chopped )
3 Green chilies(finely chopped)
1 tbsp Ginger(grated)
2 tsp Lemon juice(as per taste)
3 tbsp Oil
Rock salt or Salt for taste
Method:
1. Peel potatoes and cut into cubes. Boil potato cubes in water until are tender and cooked completely but remain in its shape.
2. Heat oil in pan, add the cumin seeds, green chilies, ginger and fry for a minute.
3. Add the potato cubes and sprinkle some rock salt. Mix well with the cumin seeds and chilies.
4. Saute the potatoes for 2-3 minutes. Now add the lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves.
5. Mix well for a minute. Serve hot.
